My name is Sven Hendrickx and I was born in Aalst, Belgium in 1984.
I’m a young graphic designer, ready to take his first steps in the professional industry. I recently graduated at the College of Science and Art, department Sint-Lucas in Ghent (Belgium).
Since my last years at high school, I just knew that in the future I would love to have a job that bursts with creativity.
So I made up my mind and pursued my dream. But I’m not there yet. Now is the time, to find that job that fits me perfectly.
As a co-worker I will always try to come up with a working creative solution that fits the project. I'm very much a team player because when working in a team, there will always be more ideas and greater possibilities. And in the meanwhile, you can always learn a thing or two from your colleagues.
I'm that kind of person that always loves to learn new things. Even if I don't understand something, I will do everything in my power to get the answers I need. For every problem, there is a solution!
I can't wait to find myself a good job and start my adventure in the professional world.
A creative world, is the only world where I want to live in.

Identity, branding and products for a new urban wear/skateshop in Hasselt.
The visual language around Switch is a mix of many different influences that are not directly linked to the usual cliché around skateboarding. For example, the store bill that resembles a doctors prescription. By using this kind of refreshing ideas, I tried to create something unseen in todays known store branding.

Culture Bazaar
This poster was created for a fictional design paper about Rotterdam. The design was influenced by my personal vision towards the city and my experiences during my visit.
Life of God
This was a school project. We had to create a book cover and some internal pages about the life of a given person. I was blessed with the person 'God'. In my book I tried to represent God as a common man who lives among us. He's just a regular man, divorced from his wife Maria, who ran of with his good friend Joseph Carpenter.
Favourite type - DIN Typeface
Another school assignment, but this time for Typography class. You had to choose your favourite typeface, examine it and do all the possible research around it. With this knowledge you could then create an interesting piece of work. How or what you created, was all up to you.
Guylian Packaging
A fictional assignment to create a new packaging for the well-known Guylian Belgian Sea Shell chocolates. I tried to create a more luxurious packaging by using seperate boxes. So that every single chocolate would be a more unique delicious experience.
