Di Mahana consists of bloodlines from England, America, France and Finland. We started with racing whippets « EL KAHAL ». We had a sister of Mats El Kahal, her name was Magie Noire. Our next whippet was Misty who is now 12 years old.(Silky But Fast du Merle Blanc X Gatsby van ‘t Katermeer).
Our exhibition career started with French King and Gladys Du Manoir De La Grenouillère. It was a magnificent debut. In 1991 French became Junior World Champion at Dortmund and reserve World Champion in 1994 at Bern (Switzerland). Gladys had her first CC in Denmark at the age of 10 months and that same day French took the BOB. At the age of three, French King was champion of a total of 9 countries : Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, International, Poland and VDH. Gladys became champion of Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, International and Luxembourg. She was 5 times BEST IN SHOW in one season. The first pups of those two champions were Scarlett, Soraya and Syan Di Mahana. As you can see in the pictures they were also a big success. The same combination was repeated two years later which gave us Unabella and Unica Di Mahana. These two sisters also turned out to be a couple of beauties.
To continue our lines we imported a male from Finland named « Woodbrooks Idol’s Eye ». His pet name is Woody and he is a descendant from the famous American bloodline « Delacrème de la Renta ». Under 4 years of age, he is already Dutch, Belgian, German and International Champion.
In 1997, he became Best Male whippet and Unabella Best Bitch in Holland. In 1998, Woody became Best Whippet in Belgium and Best Sighthound in Belgium, while Scarlett Di Mahana was Best whippet Bitch.
Viktor, pup of Gladys and Woody, became Best Whippet in Belgium in 1999, while Xasonshore, at her young age, came in second.
Xasonshore became Best Whippet bitch in Belgium in 2000.
The year 2001 looks very promising with a lot of youngsters : the new import from Italy, Almaglo Cavalier has two CACIB and three CAC on his record. Our other imports from Finland, Woodbrooks Jeir Creek, Almaglo Dimahana (also from Italy) and last but not least Zamia Di Mahana (daughter of Jacky du Manoir de la GrenouillèrexWoodbrooks Idol's Eye), are starting their career. Just wait and see...

L'élevage Di Mahana comporte des lignées Anglaises, Américaines, Françaises et
Finlandaises. Nous avons débuté avec des whippets de l'élevage de course " El
Kahal ". nous avons eu en autre Magie Noire El Kahal (sœur de Mats El Kahal ).
Nous avons encore Misty El Kahal qui est maintenant âgée de 12 ans (Silky But Fast Du
Merle Blanc X Gatsby Van 't Katermeer).
Nous avons commencé l'exposition avec French King et Gladys Du Manoir De La Grenouillère. Avec French et Gladys ce fut un départ foudroyant. En 1991 French est devenu Ch. du Monde des Jeunes à Dortmund et en 1994 réserve champion du monde. Gladys a fait son premier CAC au Danemark à l'âge de 10 mois et ce jour-là, French King a remporté le BOB. L'élevage Di Mahana commença avec Scarlett, Soraya et Syan qui sont des enfants de French et Gladys. Comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos, ils ont eu beaucoup de succès. De la même combinaison nous avons eu 2 ans plus tard Unabella et Unica. Ces 2 chiennes ont eu aussi beaucoup de succès en exposition.
Pour continuer notre ligne nous avons importé un mâle de Finlande " Woodbrook's Idol's Eye " petit nom " Woody " qui nous fait retomber dans la lignée de " Delacreme De La Renta " chien Américain très connu. Woody a juste 4 ans et est Champion de Hollande, Allemagne et International et Belge. En 1997 il est devunu meilleur whippet mâle en Hollande et Unabella meilleur femelle.
En 1998 Woody est devenu meilleur whippet mâle en Belgique et meilleur lévrier alors que la meilleur femelle est Scarlett Di Mahana.
Viktor, fils de Gladys et Woody, en 1999, est devenu Best Whippet en Belgique et Xasonshore, encore très jeune, est devenue deuxième meilllleure femelle.
Xasonshore est devenue meilleure femelle en 2000.
L'année 2001 est très prometteuse avec nos jeunes chiens : nouvel import d'Italie, Almaglo Cavalier à déjà à son palmarès 2 CACIB et 3 CAC. Nos autres importations de Finlande, Woodbrook's Jeir Creek, Almaglo Dimahana (aussi d'Italie) et la petite dernière Zamia Di Mahana (fille de Jackie du Manoir de la Grenouillère & Woodbrook's Idol's Eye) vont commencer leur carrière .....................
