The Laboratory and offices of Life-ID are located in the IIC 2 building on the Technologypark of Ghent University, on the campus Ardoyen in Zwijnaarde, which is just next to the clover-leaf intersection of the E17 (Antwerpen-Kortrijk) and E40 (Brussel-Oostende) highways.

Since the E40-exit #15 to the N60 is closed, you have to make a small detour.

Driving into the main campus entrance, continue straight past the roundabout, then turn right at the fourth crossing. On your right hand side you will see the building 603 ("IIC"), where you will be welcomed at the reception desk.
 
From the Gent Sint-Pieters railway station, several buses (Line numbers 70, 71, 72, and 48, 49 with much lower frequency) leave in the direction of Zwijnaarde. These buses stop at the "Campusstraat" near the third campus side entrance. From the gate, you will see the Innovatie- en IncubatieCentrum ("IIC") building after 100m on your left. It is surrounded with a dark green fence.
On-line time schedules ("route planners") can be found at the railway and local transit sites. Better yet, the mobile apps from the NMBS (iPhone, Android) or from De Lijn (iPhone) will provide the most up-to-date info.
