I created a plugin for Microsoft Excel 97/2000 Viewer, Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 Viewer and Microsoft Word 97/2000 Viewer.
After download:
For MS Excel viewer and MS Word viewer, right click on .exe file and extract
with Winrar. After extracting the .exe files, you will see a "viewer1.cab".
Extract the viewer1.cab file from the xlViewer.exe in the
plugin\MSOfficeViewers\Files\ExcelViewer folder.
Extract the viewer1.cab file from the wd97vwr32.exe in the
plugin\MSOfficeViewers\Files\WordViewer folder.
For the PowerPoint viewer, install the ppviewer.exe in a temp folder and copy all files after installation into the plugin\MSOfficeViewers\Files\PowerPointViewer folder.
For web browser support (FireFox) within Excel (http links) copy the
following files to the
plugin\MSOfficeViewers folder: hlink.dll, urlmon.dll
