Tablet-PC-Theme on your regular PC

First download the Tablet-PC-Theme from the Microsoft webpage.
To make it easy on yourself just give give in "theme" without quotes, into the "Search for a Download" "Keywords" field.
After downloading, do not excute but click on "start - run" and give in the location and file name you just downloaded followed by /x

example:
if you downloaded the file into your C:\Temp directory, the entry in the run box would be:
C:\Temp\WindowsXP-TabletPC-EnergyBlueTheme-x86-ENU.exe /x

The next screen will popup after clicking the OK-button

Choose your location to extract and click the OK-button

After the extraction is completed the following files have to go into the following folders:
(If necessary you have to create the folders manually).
Because the operating system in this example is installed in the "Windows" folder, I'll be using this folder.
(If your operating system is installed in a different folder, you have to make the adjustments accordingly)

C:\Windows\Recources\Themes    (=Folder)
royale.theme    (=file to be copied into the folder)

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Royale  (=Folder)
royale.msstyles    (=file to be copied into the folder)

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Royale\Shell    (=Folder)
C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Royale\Shell\NormalColor    (=Folder)
shellstyle.dll    (=file to be copied into the folder)

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Royale\Wallpaper    (=Folder)
energybliss.jpg    (=file to be copied into the folder)

Next click on start - settings - Control Panel

Double click on "Display" and in the Themes tab choose for Energy Blue

and click apply
