They received many gifts from the known artist Sol Levitt and his wife Josephine

The collection of over 4,000 objects includes paintings, drawings, works on paper, as well as ethnographic objects of African, Asian, and Pre-Columbian origin. The Museum is poised for tremendous growth in its outreach, and as part of the University’s five-year plan is targeted for expansion of its facilities.
