King Hayla Ethiopia videoAdded this video: July 24, 2007 The camera pivots around a stone statue of H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia. I was taken to the sculpted bust of H.I.M. that stood almost hidden in a secluded part of Wimbledon Park, London, England in 1998 and the negatives of my shots, taken by a 35mm stills camera were used to produce this short digifilm. The polyphonic liturgy of music comes from Ethiopian tribes women, in the field. The sculpture was made by Hilda Seligman when the Emperor stayed at Lincon House in Parkside 1939 during enforced excile after the invavasion of Abyssinia (Ethiopia), Africa.
