The show will commence with a special exhibitor’s preview on Friday, October 12th from 5-6 and a gala opening from 6:00 - 9:30, with proceeds to benefit the San Francisco Fine Art Museum’s Department of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas.
Primal Arts at the Presidio will showcase extraordinary art works from ancient and traditional cultures around the world — a sophisticated presentation of sculpture, masks, textiles, ceramics, weapons, shields, jewelry, and paintings in the striking setting of the Presidio’s Herbst International Exhibition Hall.
The show will offer a unique opportunity for both discerning collectors and art enthusiasts. This is the first year at the Herbst, and SF Tribal looks forward to a long-term relationship with the Presidio, making it an annual destination for quality tribal art. They expect to host a vibrant mix of local, national, and international collectors over the course of the weekend.
