The Tribal Art fair in Amsterdam, located in a 18th century church, is an
unique fair in Holland. During the art fair dealers will present many different
objects like sculptures, textiles, jewelry and furniture.
Not only from Africa and Oceania, but also from China, Laos and
even from Mongolia and Tibet.
The combination and variety of objects from different parts of
the world, makes the TAF in Amsterdam a very attractive show to visit.

Extra-large Japanese wooden hibachi or brazier with
original copper liner, Made in the Meiji period (1868 - 1912) Hand-carved keyaki
wood (zelkova) with decorations in gold lacquer,metal design and mother of pearl
and shell inlay. Decorated with a traditional Japanese scene of three farmers
pulling three boats loaded with the seasonal harvest. On the reverse side we see
a background scenery of chidori birds (polver) and bambou trees. dimensions 25
cm high, diameter 77 cm. Japan, wooden hibachi, d: 77 cm, Meiji period (1868 -
1912)

Miao necklace, Guizhou province, Southwest China. Necklace composed of seven
neck rings ending by seven twined spirals. In its centre, each ring is
engraved by a yin/yang sun, surrounded with stylized animals: the dragon water
(good harvest), the butterfly (Miao mystical mother), the dragon silk worm
(helps the breeding of the silk worms), the Phoenix (the bird has the capacity
