Bahaat and the For Freedom Museum were honoured by the visit of Barbara Johnson-Thompson, together with her husband and daughter Robyn. Mrs Johnson is the daughter of Lt Robert S.Thompson, the pilot of the P-38 Lightning, shot down over Stekene on January, 21st 1944. Lt Thompson bailed out, and was taken prisoner. The remains of the P-38 have been recovered by Bahaat in september, 2004. All showed great interest in the remains of the airplane, and the story behind the incident. A small souvenir was presented to the family. Read more about the recovery of Thompson's P-38.
