Publication of the fifth edition of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) in May 2013 will mark one the most anticipated events in the mental health field. As part of the development process, the preliminary draft revisions to the current diagnostic criteria for psychiatric diagnoses are now available for public review and comment.

01.08.2009 European database of regulated professions

On September 7, 2005, the European directive 2005/36 on the recognition of professional qualifications was published. It had to be transformed into national legislation before October 20, 2007. On April 2, 2008, the law of December 13, 2007 was published in the Belgian official bulletin founding a new general framework for the recognition of the professional qualifications. In this context the concept ' regulated profession' is important. On the website concerning the professional qualifications, the European commission created a database of regulated professions in the EU Member States, EEA countries and Switzerland.
