The Bernese Mountain Dog is a family dog made to measure: good-natured, very affectionate, alert, and fearless in any situation.
On the other hand, with strangers it acts friendly and self-confident but aloof.
It is a strong dog, who appreciates long walks...

My wife Liliane has, since her childhood, always been busy with dogs. Her natural love for these four-footers often nearly drove me crazy! All her attention and time goes to our Bernese Mountain Dogs. On Saturdays she takes them to the training and on Sundays to the shows...
