"The Urge to Communicate" is an artproject that is based on the idea that people want to communicate and that they always wanted to communicate and always will.

 

Communication was, is en will be a major issue in the existence of human kind.

 

There are several series planned.

The first series are based on "archeology" and diggs in history to find traces of communication in wellknown and less known cultures and civilizations.

 

Other series will be connected to other scientific approaches.

The old, very basic agricultural instrument "sickle" is turned in to a prominent questionmark: everything is open to be questioned.

" The thin white lines of innocence" is an everlasting artproject that started after studying some simple drawings of house-related and daily life items, made by children.

These childmade drawings, were so innocent and real, so fragile and strong. The were just black lines on white paper and had an individual story to tell.

 

The black lines were symbolic transformed to white lines. While white is the symbol of innocence.

The white paper was exchanged for a green canvas. Green is the colour of hope / home.

Experimenting Europe started as a social-artistic subproject within the broad Heuforia-project of Art 27. After the first Heuforia-try-outs during the expo Artikel 27 / 2005, it was clear that the formula got results with formal and existing groups of participants. For the informal and non-organised, there was a little problem: the Heuforia idea was to abstract.

In search for a good alternative, in the spirit of the Heuforia-idea in combination with the inputs from SOCCER, Art 27 prepared the social-artistic exhibition project “Experimenting Europe”.

Art Zapedzki is an Avatar who was ethically forced to flee from Second Life. As an artist he was disappointed in how the Avatars used and abused their freedom.

 

Instead of fullfilling the artists dream of a harmonious society in peace and dialogue, he was confrontated with more money making, violence, betrayall and other kind of injustices out of the real life / real world.
