This work won the first art contest award, connected with Het Eikenloof - cultural recognition award Heusden-Zolder.

Experimenting Europe started as a social-artistic subproject of Art 27.

The search of Europe continues ...

" The thin white lines of innocence " is an everlasting artproject that started after studying some simple drawings of house-related and daily life items, made by children.

These childmade drawings, were so innocent and real, so fragile and strong. They were just black lines on white paper and had an individual story to tell.

" Dit is de beschaving, dit is mooi en groot, het is kwetsbaar voor beschadiging en ... domheid eist de dood ".

" The Urge to Communicate " is an artproject that is based on the idea that people want to communicate and that they always wanted to communicate and always will.

" Candide ou l'optimisme " is both a masterpiece of Voltaire and a symbol for the enlighted Europe.

It's a key-work in the development of the art of Herwig Nulens.

Neil Young had it wrong ... You can be twenty and even much older ... on sugar mountain!
