'my' eco-project

Everyone can take action at home or can change his or her life style. We are not as powerless as we might think. We can act now already, as a change-over and awaiting a nearby high-tech-future for example, so that the startingline will be eqaually or more healthier, even so for the next generations who will build, drive, work, think and experience, live differently... Converting an old diesel car for example to an environmentally more friendly car, is no longer a fairy tale. Biobuthanol will, with a little good will, soon replace petrol and the industry is already targeting the ecological consumer. We can save and invest at the same time. Weird? Not at all! An upward, positive spiral, by taking small steps in the right direction… A positive and fair evolution in regions in the world who are worse of than us. Making conscious choices, everyone taking responsibility for their own choices. Choices that may imply less luxury or that may oblige us to save consciously. The knowledge and the technology are available to anyone, although the information does not reach everyone. Still, a lot of the information can be found on the internet. On the following pages you can find some examples of what I, as founder of Artists for Mother Earth, do and have done myself. I start with myself!

At the same time this is a warm appeal to not just think locally but also on a worldly basis in another way of consuming, even though this may take more time, effort and means. Don’t exploit people from developing countries again, whether it be directly or indirectly. Be cautious with natural fuels, for which entire forests are cut down or burned down or where people work under degrading circumstances and almost for nothing. Are we not burning / using everything we find on Our Planet ? (Wood, gas, fossil and plants fuel, forests, charcoal, water (hydgrogen),...) I suppose that another way of consuming (less) will be needed anyway. Time is free and this helps to see right through a somewhat comfortable economy, even it is so called "ecologically revolutionary". Supporting positive planet friendly or people friendly initiatives is taking decisive steps into the right direction, against which one can do very little. In my opinion, an ecological revolution has succeeded when use the opportunities we get positively so we can do better than in the past. Everything starts with ourselves, hence ‘my’ eco project. It is a personal invitation to everyone to build out their own eco project! It really works!
