Wall carpet "Charles V"

2m x 1,25m - handtuft in wool.

Jean Cracco, artist, born in Ghent designed the wall-carpet "Charles V".   The artist makes "Keizer Karel" looking from the left to the right, looking at the past.  His crown is a jestercrown.   The line has a rusty color symbolising his red hair.   A halter(Charles V forced them to wear ropes round their necks) has replaced the chain of "het Gulden Vlies".   The lamb of "het gulden Vlies" shows his back to the audience.
