Depending on the configuration obtained, the NG80C system is capable of performing a scripted demonstration of advanced concepts and tools, a single user training/familiarization exercise, or a full-scale multi-user concept validation. NG80C versions are available both for Linux/X-Windows and Microsoft Windows.

Air-ground cooperative ATC concepts, based on controller-pilot data link (CPDLC) and automatic dependent surveillance (ADS), are fully integrated with planning and control tools and safety nets through a comprehensive and consistent human-machine interface (HMI).
