An NFC-based offline loyalty system for events
Abstract— Today’s events or festivals are not loyalty based. It is only used in shops, with the aim that consumer will come back to buy more. The system usually uses barcodes or stamp papers for implementing the loyalty function. This paper presents a unique application, namely an offline loyalty system for events based on NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. DESFire can be used as an electronic wallet using NFC technology. For people who want to use it in the future, the transaction is made easy, simple, and efficient. This paper discusses a loyalty system that works offline, with NFC technology. After research, the implementation seems successful: the NFC-based offline loyalty system can be used in an event or festival.
