Demi is the bitch I decided to keep for myself from the litter I bred from Ch. Valentino’s Quorum out of a bitch from my first Boxing Helena litter, Boxing Helena’s Xena.  

I had several very specific purposes in breeding this litter.  Seeing the increasing number of larger whippets here in Europe I was determined to breed whippets who would fall clearly within FCI standards for size, at the same time as I wanted to capture some of the old European lines while they were still around, before they fell from favour with modern breeders.  

In Demi and her littermates, I believe I was successful in achieving both objectives.

Named Demi because she is a half old/half new bloodlined whippet (or alternatively, when she misbehaves she is half the time good, and half the time naughty),

Demi had a wonderful 2002 in the show rings of Europe where judges quickly realized her diminutive stature and sound qualities were deserving of reward.  

At one year and a half, Demi can already point to her major awards – Jugend Landessieger Rheinland 2002, Luxembour Youth Champion 2002, and Jugend Clubsieger WCD 2002.

Beginning 2003, Demi started her show carreer in open class in Slovenia, where she soon won her first CAC's, as wel as BIG at the show Novi Marof in Croatia. Novi Marof in Croatia.

From the moment she was born, she took a lot of interest by other breeders. Because of her big succes in Slovenia, and the knowledge she was going to our cirneco breeder, Urska Trojar, we decided to let her go. 

The 1 condition was to breed a litter for ourselves before she went to live in Slovenia. And in July 2003 our Coral litter was born. We bred Demi back to her uncle wich gave us the wonderfull Tallulah. No need to say, we have to keep Tallulah now at our house to continue with Demi's lines.
