Picasso
is just one of three superb males in his litter.
Sound,
with the hallmarked movement of his sire, Eng.Ch. Nevedith Justa Jesta,
this beautifully marked dog commands immediate attention whether he is
being walked on the streets, or exhibited in the show ring.
Acquired
by Nevedith Kennels who saw his potential as an 8-week old puppy, we
were honoured when Nevedith added their affix to his
registered name, the first European dog to our knowledge to
be so honoured.

Picasso
made his debut on 11 May 2002 at the Belgian Sighthound Centenary
World Congress show, shown by his owner, Ms. Editha Newton.
We
were delighted when he won BOB puppy and thrilled when he moved from
there to the Ring of Honour where he was selected Best Puppy in
Show.
In
June 2002 he was shown again, at Solingen, where he was again BOB puppy.

Picasso
has attracted steady interest from whippet people around the
world with the earliest and most persistent interest coming
from Avalonia Whippets in Canada, a kennel
which has owned and based its breeding program on Nevedith bloodlines
since the 1980s.
Nevedith
has now decided to allow Picasso to join the Avalonia kennel.
In
August 2002 he joined four other Nevedith whippets already
there, along with the Avalonia whippets bred from them over the past two
decades.

Thousand

Picasso two years later.
At the age of 3 years, he is fully
matured and in perfect condition, winning Canadian points for his
championtitle.

Picasso
is the first Belgian bred showwhippet to be exported
to Canada.
He
took with him a little bit of Belgium and France, courtesy of his mother, who was sired by Int.Ch. Vent d’Or du
Chawia, from my first litter, bred from established French and Belgian
bloodlines.
We
expect to see Picasso puppies make their way back across the Atlantic
before very long.
