When
I went to Canada to escort Multi Ch.Bh's
Xotic Xile and Bh's
Art Lover of Nevedith to their new home at Avalonia kennels, I
certainly didn't expect to be coming home with ANOTHER dog!
But
what do you do when you lose your heart to a tiny, perfect whippet, with
a pedigree so wonderful and a temperament so sweet that you cannot get
her out of your mind?
Because
that is what happened when I saw Cdn.Ch. Avalonia Macallan, or Tess
as she is called.

Imagine
then too my delight when Mick and Lanny told me I could take her
home to Belgium, so take her home I did on my August 18th return
flight, before they could change their minds!
This
way I want to thank Lanny and Mick, for allowing me to have this
wonderfull whippet. |

Born on 25 August 2000, Tess was sired by Cdn.Ch.
Nevedith Local Lancer out of Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Wotta Wispa both of whom
are owned by and live at Avalonia.
Kept
at home except for a couple of shows where she won Best Puppy in Group
honours as a puppy, until she was mature enough to go out into the
ring with adult dogs, she earned her Cdn.Ch. earlier this spring
under judges who described her as one did as "oozing all the
essential qualities a truly wonderful whippet bitch should
possess".
During
my stay at Avalonia I realized Tess was just one of a number
of astonishingly similar bitches sired by Lancer living at
that kennel and around the world — females that include:

Int.Fin.N.Swed.Dk.Ch.
Avalonia Glen Scotia,
and
Cdn.Ch. Avalonia Lagavulin.

In
2003 we had a wonderfull time showing TESS
!!
In
every country we showed her, including Belgium, The
Netherlands, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia,
Germany and France she took winning placements in the
breed as well as in the group.
We
are more than proud to say she ended up the year as
TOP
winning whippet bitch in Belgium 2003.
A
first litter with Tess is planned in May 2004, when
she will be bred in March to the Crufts CC winner 2004,
Nevedith Eefa Empra.
