Goodbye XENA

This week we had to give up on Xena, 

Xena who gave us so much,

I'm so proud to have bred such a wonderfull bitch, 

such a wonderfull producer .

I'm happy to know, 

that Xena knew everytime I saw her, 

I had a special feeling for her. 

She knew it, 

she showed it to me that she knew it . 

I'm so happy to know she loved me, 

and she knew I loved her. 

But all this makes it hard to let her go......

Thanks to Xena, her owner Tim Van Aerschot and his parents became some of my best friends.  Xena was bought initially as a pet, but Tim and his family quickly realized they had a top quality dog in the house, so they began joining me at dog shows, with great success. Xena's wonderfull start as a youngster has been going Youth BIS at the international show Luxembourg 1999.  Xena now enjoys company at home with her half sister, Boxing Helena's Yumanee, who is also a puppy BIS winner.

Xena's first litter is born in 2001.

Boxing Helena's August Star was the first whippet we exported to USA.

Boxing Helena's August Dawn is owned by Nadine Savoie of Du Chawia kennels in France

and

Boxing Helena's August Eve stayed at her first years at Boxing Helena's. Now she is living in Slovenia. 

2002 : Xena's top year. 

Together with her brother XLNT Man they won two of the 4 avaliable CAC's at the sighthound world congress specialty show, in Belgium, in competition with top winning dogs from all over Europe.

Three months later, Xena won also the Belgian Whippet Club Specialty, and ended up as TOP WINNING Whippet Bitch of the Belgian Whippet Club 2002.
