Flying over Fuerteventura . Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African coast, only 100km separated from Cape Juby in Morroco. The island is approx 98km long and 30km across at the widest point.

The hotel were we stayed. 

- Just outside Corralejo are beautiful sand dunes that stretch for miles along the Canary Island's east coast.

- The dunes, which form part of Corralejo Natural Park, are a protected area.
