Welcome to the website of
ON4CGX
This site is intended to give information of some homebrew stuff I made for the Contest Station ON4WY. Over about 10 to 15 years, Gilbert and i have tried to participate the 4 subregional VHF contests of Region I. In all those years we have found improvements who are very intresting. We have also found a number of things who aren't as they should be. It is not because you find something on the internet that it's as true as the Bible. A lot of things seems not to be as the author is telling. If you are looking for a flashy and wonderful designed site with special effects etc. please go looking somewhere else, you will not find it here. Everyone who is interested in VHF-communication can find here something he can use (hopefully). It gives also some interesting links to other websites where you can find more documentation and also some shops on internet where you can find the difficult components. This site is always under construction. For additional information, please contact me on4cgx@gmail.com

Do not think all home made stuff is invented by myself. It is not. Sometimes I find something, i try it out and its failing. Sometime it's working and i am as happy as a child. I don't have the skills to invent all these things, i am happy someone else have invented it for me. You just need some effort to build it. The first time is the hardest but after a while things getting better. It gets even better if you find another amateur who is searching also on the same thing. All mechanical parts on this website are build by Gilbert (ON4WY). He is having the machines and brains to make it work. A lot of thanks, Gilbert !
Never stop experimenting; It's the core buisiness of our hobby !
