This website is the homepage of Bram Roelens, a Master Productdesign and studying for a second masters degree; Master Industrial Sciences: Industrial Design. Master Productdesign is a rather artistic approuch to the product development proces, focussing on the experience, value, esthetic properties and meaning surround a certain product. Master Industrial Sciences: Industrial Design (Industrieel Ingenieur: Industrieel ontwerp) is a much more technical approuch where production and engineering are much more attenuated. Combining both master degrees, and complete knowledge base of the entire product development proces is achieved. Productdesign is an integral part of the entine product-development proces. Ergonomics (Ergonomie), Design (vormgeving), Engineering, Ecologic aspects, Production Planning, Concurrent Engineering, Reverse Engineering, prototyping and rapid-prototyping, etc... they're all equally important when creating or adapting a product.
