HttpWall is an application which automaticly grabs pictures (JPEG format) from the internet at an interval and sets these pictures as your windows wallpaper.
You can have the most recent weather map as wallpaper or bring your favorite webcam to your desktop.
Installation
1. Download HttpWall
2. Run setup.exe
3. Set the properties.
Properties
Right click the HttpWall icon in the taskbar and choose Properties.
URL : The JPG file
Tmp Dir : Temporary directory used by the application
Interval : Download and refresh Interval; choose between minutes and seconds
Display : Stretch/Tile or Center the wallpaper
Save Images to Disk : Check this if you want to store a copy of the downloaded images to disk.
Directory : Place to store the images.
The directory must exists! HttpWall will not create the direcory.
Put a backslash \ at the end of the directory name.
Prefix : The name used to store the images.
Counter : An incremental counter added to the image name.
