| Choose And Use Your Words Carefully !!
Hi ,
Today we will focus on the use of words.
I explained in the software that in a certain paragraph you're are explaining why you're the most "valuable" person for the job.
In that particular paragraph you are matching the competences as stipulated in the vacancy with your own capabilities, skills, ... When there is a resemblance then you will add it and merge it into a sentence in your cover letter.
Suppose they are asking someone who has to be accurate. You could re-use that word in order to get a fit or a hit (if you wish) between "vacancy-requirements" and yourself.
Now, it's no problem to re-use the same word. But if you do it too much then you will have a reader who will have the idea that you are rather laizy. And s/he might think: " Well, I can create a cover letter easily myself in this way. I take all the words, I shake it and I put 'the shaked words' in a cover letter."
Creating the idea that you might be laizy is a sure way not to be invited for a job interview.
You can of course use synonyms and as such I can recommend a free internet-utility at http://www.synonym.com
For the word "accurate" you get for instance the words "precise, exact, correct, ...". The word "precise" may be the most "accurate" ;-) word for your sentence.
Now the counterpart of this "web-browser-utility" is that you jump out of the text. You have to enter the browser, type in the word, change again to the word processor, .... It takes time because you also have to copy or type the synonym in the text.
There is a new software enabling you to do this without typing the word or sentence you like to change. The software enables you to stay in the text-environment. You will work much faster, .
Blue words in the program represent words that can be replaced. Underlined words represent multiple-word combinations or phrases that can be replaced.
Hover the mouse over any word in the document and a popup of that word's synonyms will appear.
Click on any word in the popup and that word will instantly replace the original word in the document. Words that have been replaced will appear orange in the document. You can also easily add your own synonyms or phrases.
This software will help you, , not only for cover letters but also for article writing, unique content creation, ...
