Drew was discovered by an agent at the age of 12, after a friend has putted him on the cover of an UCLA magazine. After his decision to wait for a while, he started a modelling career at age of 16, and became very fast a top-model, working for big companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Prada and Club Med. Due to his good looks, the step to TV commercials was fast made. You could see him in a Toyota clip and in a Pepsi clip together with Britney Spears.

Very fast he was getting parts for several movies. Drew has won the public price at the Sundance Film Festival.

He's really a sportsman, plays basketball, surfs, snowboards, plays tennis and is doing mountain climbing. Maybe his athletic parents are into something with his sportivity.

For the moment he's staying in Los Angeles together with his cat "The Chad".

Drew plays the role of "Chris Perry" in the TV show Charmed. He is introduced at the end of season 5 as a whitelighter, angel, who came from the future to help the sisters to saving the world. He is in fact the new guy at the show. He signed recently for the sixth season.
