Julian was the second of three children from Sir William and Lady Sonia. His father is deceased and was former first minister of Australia.
In his free time he sports alot and like to do the cooking. He's a fan of baseball, football, basketball and collect a lot of "classic" books.

Years ago, Julian studied the american accent. Through this study, it was easy for him to have jobs as an american. He studied for a law degree at the university of Sydney, but soon he got bored in class after his first year, and started a career as model, mainly first on commercial breaks.

In 1987 he went to Los Angeles and New York to work as a model. Other fashion-cities followed fast, Milaan, Rome, Paris..
His appearance in a commercial spot for jeans, made him popular enough to get a part in "Home and Away".For this he got the "best actor" award from an national magazine. Later he started with theater productions and musicals in England, and also in Sydney and Melbourne. After the lead role in "exchange lifeguards" he moved definitively to Los Angeles. Very fast he got several parts, like on the television show "Profiler", one of the beter dedective TV shows.

Julian plays the role of "Cole Turner" in the TV show Charmed. Actually you can find him on this site in two sections. Under cast and under demons. He began in the show as the new district attourney at the police station in the beginning of season 3. Very fast he turns out to be a demon, Balthazor. So he plays a dubbel role. The sisters are trying to vanquish him, but don't succeed at the first time. After a few episodes Cole falls in love with Phoebe, and vice versa. A witch with a demon together ? Food for a lot of problems. During 2 seasons Cole tries to supress the demon inside him, but finally he doesn't succeed with this. In season 5 he will be destroyed, thanks to Paige, in episode 100. Really a shame, he was one of the best strong characters in the show.
