My third favorite "Halliwell", also she had to fight hard to get on the top. Born in San Diego. Holly's mother, Lauralei, was just 14, when she became pregnant of Holly. Her parents are living seperate. Later, when Holly became eight years old, they moved to New York City, where she soon started with artist school. Her first television gigs were in small advertising films at age of 10. Her mother was also ambitious to become an actress and singer. Holly's start with movies was in 1985, a movie where also her mother had a part in. Several movies soon followed, some of them with big names in it, Tom Cruise, Don Johnson, Susan Sarandon, etc. Her big breaktrough was on her eighteenth in "Picket Fences", a succesfull television show. For this, she received the Young Artist Award in 1993. In 1993 she married and six years later Holly divorced. Since then, she is a lot more carefull regarding relationship. Holly has now a new friend, whom she met on the set of "charmed". Now Holly lives together with her friend, her mother, three dogs, two cats, four birds, two hamsters and two horses (not in the house ofcourse :-) She enjoys gardening really a lot. In 1998 Aaron Spelling offered her the role of "Piper", when she was auditioning for the role of "Prue". Holly decided to take the part, because she liked the script.
Holly is a spokesperson for breast cancer, to raise awareness about the disease. And is on the board for Thursday's Child, a charity for teenage runaways.
The scar in her eyebrow was caused by her walking into a marble table when she was learning to walk.

Holly plays"Piper Halliwell" in the TV show Charmed. Together with her sisters, she is a charmed-one and fights against demons, warlocks, ghosts, black witches etc.
