The mail checking feature
PrestoNotes can check at regular interval (fixed by you) if there is a new mail waiting for you. When it detects one, it show you this window :
PrestoNotes is safe : it only reads text from the mail server. It never executes scripts or attachments.
PrestoNotes can help you to locate virus or spams and to delete them before they reach your computer.
Click on the "Show details" to see the list of
mails waiting on the server.
From this window, you can click on the "Mail program" button to open your usual mail reading program. But before doing that, you probably would like to see the content of the mail. Just click on the mail you want to view, and the first 100 lines will be displayed on this window :
From the Mail detail window, you can delete the mail by clicking the "Delete mail" button. Beware! There is no means to retrieve a deleted mail. You also can do the following :
Pressing the space bar will search for a web address in the content of the mail.
Right click the text to see a context menu where you can :

Back to the Description
View the raw content of the mail, with the header
Select all text
Copy the selected text in the clipboard
Find a web address (as with the spacebar)
Open the web address selected in your Internet browser
Open your usual mail program to send a mail to the selected mail address
