A Numbers Relay Page (NRP) is an online
method to post numbers messages. The NRP is basically a
guestbook that is accessible to everyone. Just post a new
numbers message or visit the NRP to check if there's a
message for you. Of course, these messages can only be
read by people with the appropriate key to decipher the
message. The NRP is an easy way to exchange messages
without disclosing the sender or receiver and requires
only a computer with Internet browser. You don't need an
e-mail account or software and can post or read messages
from any public computer. The use of one-time pad
encrypted numbers messages offers absolute security. The
NRP is the first Internet alternative to Numbers Stations and offers secure and anonymous communication.
Warning: Since you're using the
Internet, the Internet Service Provider could be able to
trace your IP address. This doesn't change anything to
the security of your message if properly encrypted, but
if you want to stay absolutely anonymous you should use a
public computer to post and read messages.
Where do I find a Numbers Relay Page?
Here are some known currently active
Numbers Relay Pages. New pages can appear and others
dissapear.
Readers are encouraged to create more
Numbers Relay Pages. More NRP's means more different
locations and possibilities to distribute numbers
messages. The NRP should enable the posting of messages
without displaying an IP address visible or in the HTML
code. The page must have the title "Numbers
Relay Page" and a brief description of what an
NRP is. You are free to use both the text and the
background image of the original NRP's. Make sure to add
the warning about posting anonymous, as stated on the
original NRP's. If you want to use an on-line
application, like a free guestbook that requires
registering by e-mail, just use a temporary e-mail
address like 10 Minutes Mail, Mailinator or Guerrillamail. If you
would like to share a new NRP, just send an e-mail with
its link to this website and it will be added to this NRP
pages.
How to use the NRP
The NRP is intended only for numbers
messages. These are messages, encrypted with one-time
pads. All you need to know about one-time pads is found on this page. In short, create one or more one-time pads
that you distribute (physically, by courier or post mail)
to the receiver, prior to the covert communications. If
you want so send a message, convert your plaintext to
numbers, add the one-time pad numbers without carry and
post it on the NRP. The receiver subtracts the one-time
pad without carry from the ciphertext and converts the
numbers into text to obtain the original plaintext. Only
encrypted messages and talk concerning the relay of the
messages are allowed. How should a NRP message look like?
Each NRP message should contain five groups per line,
each group having five numbers. The first group of the
message must be a unique number that identifies the key
that was used to the receiver. More details about
creating one-time pads on this page. Make
sure to carefully read the security tips about one-time
pads!
