Terra

Terra is a world created by Damien some 20 years ago. He's STILL trying to write the book...

Terra is a planet where the Dùnedain moved to from Middle Earth when life there started to die out. The world of Middle Earth (thank you, master Tolkien) had seen too much evil and finally tired of life. Then evil struck again and the Line of Kings perished. The High Council of Nobles of Sombar presented the throne of the Empire to the King of Karek-D'Uum, an equally powerful kingdom in the Andromedan Galaxy.

But evil struck again. The Freemen toppled an Empire in decline and founded the Republic of Independant Planets, a conglomerate of a measly 100 planets scattered throughout two galaxies.

Fighting for the return of the Empire the underground movement of Royalists rediscover the ancient knowledge of the Dùnedain and go in search of the only man who can unite the remnants of the Empire against the Republic : the King of the Gondorian Dùnedain.

But the kingdom of Atlantis has been destroyed and its King, Achmenon, is dead. The Line of the Kings survived the cataclysm and has even had new Kingdoms in Exile. Agamemnon ruled in Greece, Achnaton in Egypt.

Now, more than 3.000 years later, the Terrans come to Earth to find the heir to the Gondorian Throne and now also heir to the Imperial Throne of Terra.

Here are some maps of Terra then and now.

	Map 1 : Terra in the year the Dùnedain arrived (16.000 B.D.). Go to the detailed maps for names of continents, countries....
	Map 2 : The central continent Sombrai in the year 15.999 B.D. The Dùnedain settled in the inhospitable upper north and called their nation Sombar (Somb- from Sombrai and -ar from Arnor, as they were Arnorian Dùnedain).
	Map 3 : The Intergalactic Terran Empire is just that : intergalactic. Consisting of six "Realms" : Terra, Karek-D'Uûm, Andromeda Major, Andromeda Minor, Magellan Major and Magellan Minor. The seat of the Karek-D'Uûm government is the ancient Andromedan's home planet Chirethon III. What are Andromedans like ? Try crossbreeding Klingons with Dwarves. With a bit of Vulcan philosophy thrown in for good measure...
	Map 4 : And now for something completely different. This map just flowed out of my pen sitting around the theatre waiting to go on to "do my thing". Where is Kandor ? No idea. Is it a planet in the Intergalactic Terran Empire ? Hell, there are so many planets waiting to be rediscovered. Could be. Then again, it might also be a solitary fantasy world....
	Map nr. 5 : Brand new. Since you all keep sending so many maps yourselves, you know... Chirethon II is the second planet in the Chirethon system. With a much more benevolent climate than the near arctic world of Chirethon III. For the Andromedans just that bit to hot to be comfortable. Thus the planet remained unpopulated for most of its existence. Until the second half of the first century B.D. when Terran refugees hid here for the wrath of the Republic.
	Map 6 : Wow ! Another new one ! To me this is a pretty strange map. But with a lot of potential. This world has been through a lot. It is literally littered with ruins of lost civilisations. An entire continent has been blown of the surface of the planet, only lifeless remains of molten rock survive. Even when drawing the map it raised more questions than answers. Strange eh ? If you have any answers for me....
