DEADLY INTENTIONS
Biography
DEADLY INTENTIONS started out as a thrash outfit in January of 1988 and hailed from Rotselaar, somewhere in between Leuven and Aarschot. Plenty of line-up changes took place in the early stages of the band's career, and as a result very few gigs were ever played. However, on October 28th 1989 DEADLY INTENTIONS did play at Floere Bloese in Wezemaal.
On January 5th 1991 DEADLY INTENTIONS shared the stage with ASPHYXIA, CHANNEL ZERO and CRY OF TERROR at the Lido in Leuven. By spring of 1991 none of the originators was still in the band, and in those days DEADLY INTENTIONS played a mixture of thrash metal and hardcore, or simply thrashcore. Both influenced by and along the lines of SEPULTURA, WEHRMACHT and MEGA-MOSH. In April and May of 1991 the band recorded a demo, and received favourable reviews in the written press, including Fanfare (Belgium) and Holland's Aardschok. On May 18th 1991 DEADLY INTENTIONS played at Rockcafé Roots in Herenthout, alongside CRIMINAL JUDGE.
