Stamps issued by the non existing Kingdom of Sedang

Some early stamp albums invite you to collect the stamps from the Kingdom of SEDANG. They even mention some additional information about this country :

Capital : Pelai-Agna
Inhabitants : 400.000
Head of the State : King Marie I
Currency : Piaster/Maths

This country, however, never existed, and was invented by a crook who travelled through Europe as "the King of Sedang" and ordered this stamps during his stay in Paris.

Stamps issued by Belgium in 1920

Only 1 sheet of 25 stamps was misprinted, with an inverted centerpart. One of the most expensive Belgian stamps. This is of course unfortunately a forgery, made out of two cheap normal stamps.

Stamps issued by Canada in 1959

Stamp printed in two passes, only 400 copies exist with an inverted center. It is very easy to make your own forgery : take two cheap normal stamps, cut carefully the blue centerpart of one of them, and glue it upside down on the other stamp !
