Crossett High School - One of the very best high schools in Arkansas is Crossett High School. This school works hard to make sure that its students get the right education so that they can go on to whatever college or job they’re planning on going on to. Like most high schools, it has all of the different subjects that are necessary, as well as some clubs and sports. For instance, students can take classes in art, English, vocational, science and math – as well as history and foreign language, of course.
Right now, Crossett high school offers the usual sports for high schools… baseball, basketball, football, track, and softball. Therefore, if your student wants to play any of those sports, he or she will be able to. The school also intends to add more sports at a later time, so you might even be able to play other sports than the ones that have already been listed.
Like most other high schools, however, Crossett considers academics to be more important than sporting events. As such, there are a lot of different rules that are important for students to follow if they want to continue playing sports. A certain level of grades needs to be kept up, and the students cannot miss too many days of class, or they will be barred from participating in sports events for the school. To show how much the high school honors its students who did well in academics, there is even an honor list of all students who earned higher than a 3.75 grade point average.
If students are concerned about what is going on in their school, they can always check the Crossett High School website for daily announcements. These announcements will mention what is for lunch, as well as a bunch of different important pieces of information – for instance, information about club activities and other important school deadlines.
Finally, if your student is attending Crossett High School and has extra time outside of class that you’d rather they didn’t waste, there’s always the long list of clubs that are sponsored by the high school. These clubs range from art and drama club all the way to the National Honor Society and FBLA. No matter what their interests are, they can find a club that’s right for them.
