Macomb Community College - Macomb Community College is a great college in Michigan that will allow you to get the degree you want in the time that you want without having to worry about spending too much of your own money. This college has been operating for fifty years, and in that time, it has done a lot to make sure that it’s always offering the best education possible. While the community college started fairly small in 1954, it is now the second largest in all of Michigan. Therefore, if you’re looking for a community college that is large enough to give you all the opportunities you want, then this is the one for you.
Macomb community college has a lot of different programs – and unlike most community colleges, you’re not limited to earning an associates degree. In fact, there are almost forty different bachelor’s degrees offered at this community college, which is much more than you can expect from almost any other community college. You can even study here for your master’s degree!
If you’re a resident of Macomb County, then tuition for this community college will be considerably lower for you than it would be if you were from outside of the county. For this reason, if you’re a resident of this county, you should definitely look into attending this community college – since it’ll give you all of the opportunities you would expect to get from a four year university, but for cheaper – and a lot closer to home. However, people are also welcome from outside of the county, though they may have to pay a little bit more in order to attend.
If you’re a high school student, Macomb Community College even has a program that may be of interest to you. If you have good grades and your counselor thinks you can handle it, you can even start to earn college credits while you’re still in high school. The Macomb Early Admit program allows high school students to take a limited number of college credits each semester.
While Macomb Community College is a little more difficult to get into than most other community colleges, the opportunities that you’ll gain by attending are so great that it’s definitely worth the time it takes to apply. Don’t end up going to a lesser college and apply today!
