Pensacola Christian College - If you’re looking for a Christian college and you’d like to live in the beautiful state of Florida, then Pensacola Christian College is the best choice for you. This wonderful college is for people who believe in Christ and who want to attend a college where everybody else also strives to follow the tenets of their faith. The purpose of this college is for people to learn how to glorify God through education and teaching of the scriptures.
Pensacola Christian College was founded in 1974 and has been growing steadily since then. While it started small, the college is now fairly large and also contains the Pensacola Theological Seminary. Students come to Pensacola from all over the United States, and some students have even come from one of over sixty foreign countries. While this is primarily a college for students to learn about their chosen field of study, there is a lot of emphasis placed on the teaching programs, so if you’re thinking about eventually teaching about or in the ministry, you should look into Pensacola.
This college has many different admissions requirements that need to be met by all students who are planning to attend the college. While it is generally expected that all students have finished a high school education, it is not necessary that all students have attended a traditional public school high school. In fact, Pensacola welcomes students who have been home schooled or who have graduated from a private high school. All that is necessary is that these students can provide some proof that they earned the equivalent of a high school diploma. All students must also take the ACT or SAT I tests to make sure that they will be registered for the appropriate classes.
Pensacola Christian College offers college credit for some classes and life choices that some other colleges would not offer credit for. For instance, military service is worth credit at Pensacola. You can also get credit if you’re transferring from a Bible College. Whether you’re looking to teach at a private Christian school, or you’re just looking for a college where you can get a quality education in a quality location, you should think about applying to Pensacola.
