Edward Ka-Spel (UK)
Edward Ka-Spel
has amassed a sizable discography of solo albums in addition to his work as the
frontman for the The Legendary Pink Dots.
Left alone in what could imaginably be a musty attic filled with broken toys,
obscure encyclopedias documenting eccentric myths, and a few electronic
recording devices, Ka-Spel seems more willing to explore the creepily seductive
lullabies that are often found in the LPD material.
Hypnoskull vs Mike Van Raspaarden Quartet (B)
What happens
when hardcore newschool industrial is confronted with a jazz quartet of
experienced musicians.
The clash between organic and digital sounds, manipulations and live-played
instruments.
An experiment that shows how stylistic borders can easily be crossed , if
you're willing to try.
First ever live performance of this concept!
The Mike Van Raspaarden Quartet contains ex-members of Orgasmaddix
& Poesie Noire.
Einleitungszeit with Sangredans (CZ)
Einleitungszeit live actions are very intense, often described as "negative
or destructive", but they have more in common with ecstasy when R-01 uses a
grinder directly on his chest (protected only by a thin metal plate) or when
he's burning his hands with asbestos gloves or grinding an iron band around his
neck.
Sometimes, these emanations of joy could not be left without harm; R-01 was
burned or hit by electricity for many times.
This Morn' Omina (B)
Imagine someone
stealing small bits from other genres - genres as diverse as tribal, ritual,
techno and powerful rhythmic industrial.
Now, what if all this was added up and merged into one unique style ... would
this sound OK?
Probably not, but strangely enough it works brilliantly for This Morn'
Omina.
FeaTurE (B)
FeaTurE
is just plain industrial combining electronics and guitars. Not in the Nine
Inch Nails and Ministry style, but a lot darker and louder.
At times FeaTurE's music is reminiscent of early day :Wumpscut:
and Suicide Commando.
It has the same gloomy and aggressive feeling.
