EE06: Maeror Tri (D) ‘The Singles’

We hardly believed it ourselves folks, until we recently got permission to do this very unique MAEROR TRI-reissue on CD!!

It comprises their (all but one) full singles/EP’s on vinyl recorded from 1993-1996 that appeared on such fine labels as Fool’s Paradise (RIP), Noise Museum (RIP) and Ant-Zen.
All 8 tracks on this compilation are now highly collectable and range from raw archaic noise to mature emotional sound(e)scapes, a style in which this leading German drone project excelled during the nineties.
The CD was mastered @ illlektrik-toolz.com by Mr. Ah Cama-Sotz himself and it’s really a pleasure to hear those gems fully repolished to the digital format for the very first time!
Special care was given to the 7” cover artwork also: a stunning silkscreened production designed and printed by Mars F. Wellink of Vance Orchestra!

So stop your search after these wanted vinyls on eBay and focus on

this CD re-release while it still lasts…

EE04: Y Create (NL) ‘Madadayo’

Musician and home-tape veteran Hessel Veldman, known from the legendary Gorgonzola Legs, F.N.T.C. and the Exart label ( IJmuiden, Holland 1982 – 1995), finally returns back to earth with the resurrection of his solo-project Y CREATE: a full-length CD (76:54) with new dark earplays, now for the first time available! 

All material on ‘Madadayo’ was processed with original sounds from the rich Exart-archives. 

This joint venture between Exart and EE Tapes gradually evolved into a rather emotional finale for both parties:

First Hessel had to deal with the death of his second daughter Angel (Engel), causing long depressed periods, and while composing and producing this work, from its earliest concept to the final production in December of 2004, both Hessel and Eriek of EE Tapes lost their dear mother and fathers, leading eventually to the birth of this dark ambient masterpiece full of melancholy and contemplation.

The concept of Hessel, Eriek and Marcel is a statue for all the dear ones who died.
