| Live Music was founded in 1995 when a few music fans started a club in the basement of the tavern “Damier” in Harelbeke. Each month, a small concert was organised. Very soon, this basement became too small and the concerts had to relocate to the Tavern upstairs. However due to our growing audience, the Tavern was just a temporary solution and soon our concerts were held in the Club “De Heerlijkheid” in neighbouring Heule. After a few years, the organisation moved back to Harelbeke, the town where it all started. It was there that a new location was found and our concerts now can take place -under very favourable conditions- in the "Blauwe Zaal" of the cultural centre "Het SPOOR" in Harelbeke. In 1998 we organised our first Live Music festival with only 3 bands. Since then, we have had many international toppers on our stage : The Yardbirds, The Hoax, Stan Webb's Chicken Shack, El FIsh, Dr. Feelgood, Jimmy Dawkins, Chris Farlowe, Amor, The Hamsters, ARNO, Hook Herrera, Tony Joe White, Eric Burdon, The Blues Band, Ten Years After, Mick Taylor ........
