This kit offers the updated version with extended LERX and Sharknose.

Should be an easy model to build with few parts (update september 10th, '04)

But I want to do something extra, I've opened port avionics bay and starboard weapon bay

Cut the ailerons and slats and slightly lowered them

I'm using Verlinden Lock On N°26 F-5E/F Tiger II as reference for this project.

Underside of fuselage : I'm cutting holes for the speedbrakes and made them from sheet plastic

You can see the fuselage and speedbrake of the 1/48 Monogram/Revell kit for comparison

Here I'm adding detail to the inner side of the speedbrake

Tamiya extra thin cement is used to melt and glue the thin stretched sprue (in red for better contrast)
