Dragon 1/16 Fallschirmjäger figure - Monte Cassino 1944 (N°1603 Warrior series)
I glued the body together and assembled the gun, cleaned up all the parts.
On the legs of the body there is a little putty needed but for the rest you can easily scrape off the plastic for cleanup.

I will use enamels to paint the figure. What I do is paint the base color first. Then I add black to it for the recessed area's and shadows.
Then add white for the highlights. These 3 colors are painted 'wet in wet', you make them blend into each other by brushing the wet colors into each other.
(update march 30th, 2006)
For the face I use the same wet in wet technique : I start with a base sand colour, then mix white and red giving various pinkish tones,
these are blended into the wet sand color.

All parts painted :
Oil wash & assembly next
(update april 6th, 2006)
Body assembled and now doing some oil washes. (update april 10th, 2006)
Then I did some drybrushing to highlight the details and finished it off with a dull coat.
I'm not a real figure painter so I can be happy with the result. (update april 14th, 2006)
