Hasegawa 1/72 M3A1 Stuart Light Tank

A simple kit with vinyl tracks. I build these older kits just for fun, they lack a bit of detail compared to the more recent kits like from Revell. Good for a quick build without much headaches. Assembly is simple, takes a good hour to get this far : (update april 9th, '06)

Now a bit of preshading, roughly applied

Then basecoat :

Tracks are glued on with superglue, hide the ends behind the fenders to avoid seeing them. The tracks are too short anyway to get some realistic sagging. Then future and decals on.

Oil wash, light drybrushing and final dull coat.
