Erwin's Pages Central will fall back concerning activity, but we will continue to update you, our dear audience, about major gaming and PC events, and create thorough articles to (mis)inform you about what's really going down in the swamp of technology and games. Grand Prix 4 review ![]() Well, if you can blame us for something, it's for being late with reviews. Released end of June, GP4 was the next chapter in the widely acclaimed Grand Prix F1 simulation series. We bring you a thorough review end of August. Well, better late than never eh. >

Erwin's Pages Central welcomes a new affiliate: Animeworld. The site is a very brave initiative of Inu Yasha, and heck, it even looks great too! If you liked the Erwin's Pages Satellite "Rurouni Kenshin Seidou", you should definitely pay a visit to Animeworld, since it covers much more than just RK. You can also find stuff about Japan, artwork, games and manga there, and last but not least, Animeworld supports an extensive and very active message board. Cya all there! >
Animeworld Hey, no comment eh. Over 50000 hits, coming
from 30000 in July. All we can say is
thank you! Domo arigatou!
Merci! Bedankt! Terima kasih! Danke! Gracias! ^_^ Icewind Dale 2, the last game to ever use Bioware's Infinity engine, has been released in the US. Time to return to the Forgotten Realms, and freeze our ears off in Black Isle's sequel to Icewind Dale. The European release is planned for the first part of September. You lucky American bastards (again!). >
Icewind Dale 2 Site Here's what's been posted on the official UT site: Operating System: WIN 98/ME/2000/XP
Heavy, but nothing we couldn't expect. I got my GF4, so I think I'm pretty safe :D >
UT: 2003 Site The King of hardware sites, Tom's Hardware have reviewed the newest ATI flagship, the R9700 Pro (God, you just have to be jealous of those guys) And guess what, ATI fans? This is time to rejoice: the ATI board hammers the nVidia GF4Ti boards on all fronts. Read the full article below. >
Tom's Hardware R9700 Pro Review
At the beginning of this summer, the US army released a RECON version of government funded version of CS, and now the army dudes are reporting their game has entered the Gold stage. Here's a snip from the official statement: AA:O will be available on a free CD at the beginning of October at local U.S. Army Recruiting stations, ROTC Detachments and at other Army events - to be listed here at our site. The CD will feature many missions that can be downloaded from our mirrored sites, as well as several exclusive levels (Weapons Cache, FARP) including the Swamp Raid and Mountain Ambush missions. I don't know what to say about this game.
On the one hand, it's a great opportunity to see the Unreal Warfare
engine at work, but at the same time I do not like the mingling of real
life (US' War on Terrorism, recruiting) with games. I think these two
things should be well set apart
Oh well. There is a new Tomb Raider site around the block. Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness is set for release November 15th, both for PC and PS2. The site is redesigned, and features some hot new material. >
Tomb Raider Site EA has reported that Battlefield 1942 has
finally gone gold. Get ready for MOH:AA's ultimate killer, surprisingly
from ithe same developer. Guess EA's management are either war veterans
or watched Saving Private Ryan a couple of too many times ^_^ >
Battlefield 1942 site "Oh my God" I hear you shouting, and I am too. In light of the graphical adventure revival at Lucasarts, after the joyful news of Full Throttle II, a sequel to Sam & Max, one of the best graphical adventures released back in 1993, is announced. Peep this: SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- August 27, 2002 -- Sam & Max, interactive entertainment's most beloved canine and rabbit combo, hit the road again first quarter 2004 in a long awaited adventure comedy sequel for Windows PC from LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC. The follow up to the critically acclaimed 1993 adventure classic Sam & Max Hit the Road® will dispatch the Freelance Police into a wild world of screwy and vaguely quixotic missions. Each one will be jam packed with nerve-jangling action, brain-busting puzzles, and the kind of easygoing banter one might expect from a talking dog and a naked, hyperkinetic bunny. In times likes this, one can only laugh.
Really.
