Installing your MyBook World Edition

Installation Procedure

• Connect all hardware as explained in the quickstart guide.
  
  
• Do not install software from the CD !!
  
  
• Power on the MyBook and wait for 4 minutes (starts up all internal software)
  
  
• Open your internet browser and type this URL : http\\mybookworld
  Go to the tab "General Setup" and make a new user.
  eg. user "admin" password "123456"
  
  
• Open Windows Explorer and mount a network drive using \\MyBookWorld\PUBLIC and the above username and password.
  
  
• That's all folks ...
