I bought Konan as a
puppy. I called Hans Krings, of Hennekamp kennels, and asked if he still
has a male puppy for
me. Hans told me, " I have the last puppy male from my litter, nobody likes
him." I told him to keep him, and I will come immediately to pick him up.
I start to train him in Germany on the age of 15 months.
When he was 18 months old he earned his SchH I, at 20 months his SchH II and at 24
months, his IPO III and SchH III. Now, in addition to being HD free, he is
SchH III, IPO III, AD, ZtPr DE and ZtPr BE.
Konan, at his first Klub Show,
the Belgium Rottweiler Klub under Judge Roger Vandereyken, he won SG 2.
The Judge told me, "for me he is the
best dog, but I need to see his teeths." At that time, Konan didn't like to show
his teeth. I trained and I trained, and after a few weeks it was no problem to show his
teeth anymore. Konan learned very quick, "what was good and what was
bad."
