Taisho
Sanshoku 51cm Female 4years old
Long
time ago when there was no such variety as "Taisho Sanshoku" in this
world, even Kohaku was not yet called "Kohaku" then, it was called
"Sarasa."
while breeding "Sarasa," Koi that got Sumi all over its body came out
by accident. Having 3 colors (white, red and black), the variety was named
"Sanshoku," which means 3 colors in Japanese. The uncompleted Koi
turned out such beautiful Nishikigoi at present by berrders' efforts for many
years.
In this way, Taisho Sanshoku originally came form Kohaku. Therefore, in
appreciating the variety, we first look at Hi pattern: whether Hi pattern is
excellent as Kohaku or not.
The Koi of this month has a very unique and attractive face. The pattern has
3-stepped markings. The excellent stepped pattern gives very stable impression.
In addition, big Sumi spots place at exact positions between the Hi plates. This
brings up the beauty of this Koi. This koi of the month is a high quality
Nishikigoi with excellent Hi pattern and power of Sumi.
