Technique Technique implies playing your notes really fast, low and high. But in order to do that you must master your basics. These basics cover tone, posture, breathing and studyscheme. We assume you know how to finger your flute, but just to make sure we'll give you a complete fingering chart. We assume you know how to hold your flute, but just to make sure check these items: posture and general flute support. Lips, breath-pressure and flexibility across the registers are the items contained in the term embouchure. If all basics are perfect AND your studyscheme is good, THEN with blood, sweat and tears you will be able to play your flute really fast, low and high. Tips : Pay attention to your tone while practicing technique and monitor your technique while playing tone exercises.
