Posters

Gray Morrow poster; Poster made in 1975. Measures 19" x 28-3/4" made by King Features, Sal Quartuccio and Gray Morrow. Together with John Cullen Murphy and Wally Wood he the assistent of Hal Foster in the last years that he was making the comic.
3d Poster .This poster is made by Larry Bird and is 3 dimensional. You do need special glasses to get the full effect.
Hal Foster page 2000 Poster. Prince Valiant page 2000 poster by Hal Foster. This one is # 895 of a limited edition of 1000. 40 x 50 cm. Printed by Manuscript Press in 1974/75 and distributed by King Features Syndicate. There is also a non-signed regular version available
Art Deco poster. Prince Valiant screenprint made by Decalage, France. Only 100 made and therefore very expensive. Printed in 1983 on 55*75 cm.
Wally Wood poster . Wally wood was one of the assistants of Foster, together with John Cullen Murphy and Gray Moore. This poster was the plate Wally wood was drawing to convince Hal Foster that he was the best choice for taking over the work from Foster when he was quiting from drawing.
Elastolin fugures. Poster printed to promote the Elastolin figures collectors book. Published in Germany 2006.
KFS poster King Features Syndicate poster to promote Prince Valiant to newspaper agents and distributers. Very rare poster. Printed around 1965. Contains pages 1466 and 1467. This copy originaly belonged to Opera Mundi, Amsterdam. Opera Mundi was the PV distributer in most European countries between 1950 and 1975.
Giungla poster The Italian magazine " l Nerbiniano" did include a comic supplement called "Giungla" in their nr 3 from september 1985. These books are published by Nerbini. Inside there is an article about PV and a big poster (24 X 45).
KFS poster Huge transparant PV poster for on windows (140*80cm). Printed for comic shops in Germany.
Foster's last page In memory of Foster's last drawn page they've made a special Screen Print poster of that page. Newspaper size.
Bridge scene A special Screen Print poster of that famous picture. Printed in 1986, limited edition to 200 prints. 45*70 cm.
Fine Art Poster Prince Valiant Fine Art Poster 1978, 17x29”, Signed & numbered LE 100 & embossed in lower left with 1978 Limited Edition seal. Part of a very expensive series of very limited stonewash lithograph cartoon prints printed in Japan for the Abrams Galleries (on behalf of the Newspaper Comic Council) on high quality paper and retailing in 1978 for ca. $495 each! Very rare & unusual. The edition is limited to 110 copies—of these, ten, numbered I-X, are artist’s proof, and the remainder are numbered 1-100. These are done on very heavy cream colored rag paper with deckle edges, each embossed with the King Features Limited Editions INC seal.

Stamp & First day release; PRINCE VALIANT FIRST DAY COVER WITH 22KT GOLD REPLICA STAMP. ISSUED BY POSTAL COMMEMORATIVE SOCIETY. POSTMARKED 10/1/96 IN BOCA RATON, FL., COMICS CLASSIC COLLECTION FIRST DAY OF ISSUE.

Promotional material
Bädische Verlag Freiburg advertisements . Bädische Verlag did print a seperate advertisement leaflet for every new book they print (around 1960). It's one page A4, printed on both sides. There was even a "club". Every member did receive these leaflets and announcements for new books.
KFS advertisements; KFS artists and writers In 1949 King Features Syndicate published a promotional folder. It was a simple book with work of all their artists. Probably used for promotion with newspapers and bigger publishers in the US and in Europe. It has an interesting picture from Foster inside. See the two pictures below.

Candy package; It seems that there was once a candy which comes with a suprise and was made by Leader. Anybody who knows more?
Prince Valiant Greatness in his Destiny; Prince Valiant by Martin Delrio. Mass market paperback publications. Book of the Hollywood movie which is prepared on the moment.
PV Calendar; . The Prince Valiant Calendar.
Paper Dolls .Prince Valiant and Princess Aleta #2616 Saalfield (1954). Several pages with paper dolls.
Vaillant. Books printed by Monmartre edition, France, in 1956 (number 577) and 1962 (number 876-888). It's talking about many different subjects, including some illustrations. There is no Prince Valiant inside.
Banzai. Nintendo nr 5 from 1992. Magazine around the Nintendo games (one game is Prince Valiant). Italian.
Cardboard crown. This French PV crown was printed to promote the PV cartoon series.
Book covers. Penn State Industries published Four very dynamic, attractive Pop-Art book covers (12" x 20" inches) in the Early '60s Pop art style and great printing on thick stock. One of the bookcover posters is PV.
Sticker book. This sticker book was published in Cuba and based on the 1954 movie. 128 stickers included.
Spanish child story book. This book measures only 12*16 cm, black & white, and is made in 1945. It is published by Rovira, Spain. Its part 255 in the serie "El Perro Viejo, coleccion Marujita". It contains reading stories with some pictures, not made by Foster. But indeed one of the stories is called El Principe Valiente (4 pages).
Cigars! Cigar package bands in different colors from the Netherlands. Used in a "stripfiguren" (comic figures) serie. At least 5 colors are known
